15:15-16:15 Wednesday 17th November
This seminar will present some of the COVID-19 impact data now available and examine its implications for the civil society sector, in order to set the scene, for a discussion amongst large and small civil society organisations of what impact the pandemic has had on them as organisations and on the relevance of their missions and methods.
The panellists will also consider how the future should look for the continuance of various civil society organisations as achievers of developmental missions; whether their missions can, or should, be achieved in the immediate post-pandemic World by reverting to the earlier methods; and how best to meet the needs of the beneficiaries, and the expectations of their donors, in reaching developmental targets through more direct engagement in solutions.
