Rehnuma Karim, Ph.D

 

Dr. Rehnuma Karim joined State University of New York as an Assistant Professor after she completed her Ph.D from the school of Health and Human Performance at Penn State University. She worked at UNICEF Bangladesh and spearheaded the planning and implementation of UNICEF Bangladesh’s first National Youth Forum in 1999.  She is the Founder and President of a New York based Non Profit Heroes for All Inc – a youth-development focused organization helping young people with mentorship, innovative community outreach programs and civic engagement. Dr. Karim is also a Leadership Coach and has her own podcast titled “Limitless Leadership Lounge”. To promote tolerance and diversity, she also moderates and organizes cross-cultural dialogues advocating voices of marginalized population, women’s right, and conscious leadership. She is also working as a consulting editor for a popular New York based Bangladeshi Business Magazine COLORS.  She is also an active contributor to Rochester Leadership Digest and committee member of the Global Leadership Network in Rochester, NY.
